Josh Pico has over thirteen years of playing experience and over six years of coaching experience.

 

After captaining his High School team to a New Jersey State Championship, Josh spent four years playing at Division-I Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. From the 2003-2006 seasons, Josh played on one of the most successful defensive units in the Nation while compiling a 52-9 record. During his colligate career Johns Hopkins reached the NCAA Division-I Playoffs four times, the Final Four three Times, two Championship games, and captured the 2005 NCAA D-I National Championship.

 

During the previous five years Josh Pico has coached lacrosse in Texas, Ohio, Maryland, New Jersey and New York. Some of his experience includes coaching for Hopkins’ Head Coach Dave Pietramala’s Blue Jay Lacrosse Camp, Princeton Head Coach Bill Tierney’s Princeton Lacrosse Camp, All-Star Lacrosse and Mark Millon Lacrosse Camp.

 

Coach Pico served as the defensive coordinator for the University or North Texas in 2007. At UNT he helped to lower the team's goals against average by a full point and helped guide the team to a new mark for total wins. Additionally, UNT team advanced further than ever before in Playoff competition in 2007.

 

Coach Pico is currently the Head Coach of the Southlake Carroll Varsity lacrosse team.
